We went back to Nakomis Beach this morning - GREAT beach day! Owen really wanted to "swim", but the surf was just a little too rough, so we amused ourselves by getting knocked down by waves at the shoreline. We went to Pop's for lunch, and then to Sarasota Jungle Gardens. It was fun - we saw lots of reptiles (including a couple of alligators), exotic birds, monkeys, etc. The absolute highlight of Owen's day, however, was stopping at the party store on the way home for a crown to complete his prince outfit. He's been walking around all week with a foam sword tucked into his belt, and has been asking if Grandma and Grandpa have any prince crowns laying around. Now he is officially Prince Owen.

Florida Vacation - Day 3
