Camping, Take 2

This time it worked out. Last time we planned a family camping trip, it rained for a month straight and we wound up at the North Conway Red Jacket Resort. This time, we listened to the weather forecast and said, "hurricane, schmuricane" and went anyway. And we were rewarded with awesome end-of-the-summer weather and views like this one:

So I guess we can call this camping trip a success. Particularly for Mike, who has a new fan club president named Ellie. I think she was in awe of his ability to provide for us all in the middle of the woods, naming him "Worker Man" by the end of the first day. Kids sure are observant, huh? (Fortunately she never came up with a name for me).
