7.5 miles on a day like today deserves a mention. My good friend and loyal running companion Eddie Vedder sums it up like this:
My shadow runs with me
underneath the big wide sun.

as we leave it all
we leave it all far behind.
No, I haven't gotten into Owen's Benadryl, just feeling a little philosophical today. And yes, it has been a long week with the kids since returning from vacation. A very, very long week.

- Mike and I were married in October of 1998... Hard to believe it's been 11 years already! We had Owen in April of 2004, and Ellie in August of 2006. It's been a fast-paced, fun, exciting, and sometimes challenging (remember when Owen didn't sleep through the night for almost a year?) adventure. But it's going by SO quickly! We decided to start this blog to capture (and share) our adventures. And so that we don't forget anything along the way! If we haven't heard from you in a while, touch base!

It does deserve mention. I'm not sure if the mention should be "good for you!" or "are you crazy?" but it does deserve mention. Glad you survived it.
